Project Coordinator

Location: 12-3170 Ridgeway Dr. Mississauga, Ontario

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience: Upto 3 Years

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Project Coordinator will support the planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of engineering and automation projects. This role works closely with Project Managers, engineering teams, clients, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with technical and contractual requirements.

 

THE ROLE:

Project Coordination & Support

  • Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities from initiation to closeout.
  • Coordinate internal teams including engineering, procurement, panel shop, programming, and site execution.
  • Track project schedules, action items, and deliverables using tools such as MS Project.


Technical Coordination

  • Support project scope related to electrical and field instrumentation systems, including flow, pressure, level, temperature, and analytical instruments.
  • Coordinate preparation and review of technical documents such as drawings, specifications, BOMs, and vendor submittals.
  • Assist with instrument selection, vendor coordination, and technical clarifications.


Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as a coordination point between clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, MOMs, progress reports, and routine project updates.
  • Support issue tracking and follow-up to ensure timely resolution.


Documentation & Project Controls

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, logs, and trackers.
  • Assist with change management, cost tracking, and progress billing documentation.
  • Support project tracking (ZOHO preferred).


Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure project documentation aligns with internal procedures and contractual requirements.
  • Support compliance with applicable standards, codes, and safety requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project coordination and documentation processes.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 0–3 years of experience in project coordination or engineering project support roles.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of electrical systems and field instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office Suite, and ZOHO preferred.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
